You are the Coffee Bridge warrior, master of consoles and protector of the fire axe. Basically your job is to assist the [[Captain]] and sometimes the other Heads on whatever they need help with, while also defending the Bridge.

As a '''Bridge''' Assistant you should spend most of your time at the Bridge.

The Bridge is one of the most secure areas of the station, mostly used by the Heads and Captain to communicate or hide from angry mobs. The Bridge also houses an array of useful tools and consoles, which makes it a prime targets for intruders.

You must make sure that the Bridge is secure and no [[Assistant|unauthorized]] [[Clown|crew]] gets in.

You spawn with a mini-energy gun and a flash, and you also can always find handcuffs at the Bridge. Using these weapons, make sure to kick out anyone breaking in or who already broke in. In case the situation is dire you can always lockdown the Bridge. You can use the fire axe against intruders, but don't wield it yourself for longer than necessary or leave it in the hands of [[Assistant|non-command]] [[Clown|staff]] as otherwise you will suffer from debilitating [[mood]] loss and hallucinations. Remember you will only feel truly happy when the fire axe stays in its cabinet, the axe getting destroyed somehow will weigh especially terribly on your mind.

Please note that you're not a [[Security Officer]], and you should not care about pursuing people outside of the Bridge!

The Bridge, being one of the central areas of the station as well a target for many criminals, makes it common for it to fall into disrepair.

As such, you spawn with a full toolbelt to repair anything broken. Usually the prime things you will fix are windows, airlocks, and consoles.

Your toolbelt also spawns with a inducer, it's really useful to charge up the APC when the [[Captain]] needs to use the Communication Consoles during a power blackout.

You will spend more time on the Bridge then even the Captain, so you should make use of that!

The Bridge has a ton of consoles that you can use to support the Command staff. For example:

* '''Update the Security records''' of criminals talked about between the [[HoS]] and the [[Captain]]
* '''Watch Suit Sensors''' and notify if any of the Heads start [[Revolution|mysteriously]] dying
* '''Send Announcements''' via the Requests Console (on the wall) regarding important information to the crew
* '''Buy Goodies''' and other stuff from [[Cargo]] to upgrade the Bridge

Assisting the [[Captain]] is the job of [[Byond the impossible|all of the Heads of Staff]], primarily the [[Head of Personnel]], but most of the times all of the Heads are too busy with their own Department affairs or [[Traitor|something else]].

Due to this, you're the Right-Hand-Man of the Captain, assisting them with anything they need help with.

Remember to keep up good communication and relations with the Captain, or else you find yourself being more of a nuisance than an assistant to their already stressful job.
